Students will be introduced to Fiona the Hippo - the story of the world's most famous Baby Hippo. Fiona was born in the Cincinnati Zoo and was the first premature hippopotamus to be raised by humans. This will be the first in a series of lessons about Fiona, fiction and non-fiction books, as well as perseverance and collaboration. Also, Ms. Zeff is from Cincinnati and has always loved hippos.
