This year's "On the Same Page" community read has been announced and it is age appropriate for our students this year. Some of the themes include: friendship, tolerance, diversity, responsibility, and honesty. It would be great for teaching point of view and there are additional resources - "extras" on the book's website. Second and third grade teachers will be reading the book in class. Kindergarten and first grade teachers will probably not read it in class but we have several copies available in the media center for families to check out.
