As we have missed most of the past two weeks of school, we will be re-establishing our media center routines this week. Kindergarten and first grade will be learning about fiction versus non-fiction books with a read aloud(fiction) featuring a shark main character and some examples of non-fiction books about sharks. We will examine similarities and differences in each of the books. It is possible that Ms. Zeff and/or Ms. Siver will be wearing a relevant costume. For second and third graders, I will be reading very short passages from a variety of chapter books in order to introduce the students to a wider range of reading materials in the library.
