Kindergarten - Students were able to research all of the animals studied by kindergarten. They learned how to navigate websites, use tabs and click from one page to the next. They were also introduced to the National Geographic website which has interactive books about a variety of animals. First Grade - First graders played "Musical Keyboarding" and tried out a variety of keyboarding websites. You can find these websites here.
Second and Third Grade - Second and third graders took an online survey as part of our school re-accreditation process. They also learned how to add a text box to a Word Publishing layout document. They will be using this skill to prepare products for their Celebrations of Learning. The instructions for this on a Mac computer can be found here. Your child should also be able to add a text box on a Windows-based computer.
