In the Media Center - Week of March 23rd

The Moose is on the Loose - somewhere in the school.  It was found three times by Mr. Reading's Class, once by Ms. March's class, and once by Ms. Fortenberry's class.  We have some very observant students because we thought we had some good hiding places.

Here's what we are doing in the Media Center this week.

Kindergarten - Students are conducting online research about animals.  Each class was assigned an animal and students used this website to search for facts about the animal.  Students learned about links - the link turns from blue to purple after it is "clicked", as well as key words - the words in bold

First Graders - First graders were busy this week preparing for their Celebration of Learning on Thursday.  Classes came in to get books, chill out and read, and to watch their performance.

Second Graders - Second grade classes learned to add clip art to a Word document.  They practiced using this video from Ms. Zeff to follow the instructions and work independently.  The most important thing to know when working with digital pictures is to always resize the picture from the corners.

Third Graders - Third grade classes learned to add photos from Photo Booth(taken last week) to a Word document.  They used this video from ms. Zeff to follow the instructions and work independently.  The most important thing to know when working with digital pictures is to always resize the picture from the corners.
