David Shannon will be our featured author this week as we read his latest book. First and second graders will be preparing for the author visit next Tuesday.
We also have an autographed copy of this book for our media center. I volunteered for this event at the book festival and was able to meet Justice Sotomayor. A number of our students and former students were there. It is a beautiful book and she was so wonderful with the children.
