Students in kindergarten through third grade will hear the read aloud, "Mr. Peabody's Apples." This contemporary look at a Ukranian folktale was written by Madonna(yes, that Madonna!) and illustrated by Loren Long. The "power of words" is an important concept whether you are speaking face-to-face or using social media but I like to use this book as part of our lessons about digital citizenship.
