Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss !!!! Check out our Dr. Seuss book display in the Media Center in honor of Theodor Seuss Geisel's birthday on March 2nd.
Kindergarten -Students visited Seussville on the computers at http://www.seussville.com/http://www.seussville.com/. They could see their favorite characters, play games, and watches short video clips. This is a "busy" website that may require parental assistance. It also drained the batteries of our laptops.
First Grade - Third Grade - We visited the "We Give Books" website at http://www.wegivebooks.org/. This site does require a login but it is free and does not have advertising. You can read about the organization, their funding sources, etc. on the site. Students can read picture books and non-fiction, informational books online, as well as a few Spanish books and a few biography chapter books. This site does require a flash player.
